On one side it has clips to hold the Fire in place, so there is no worry about the Fire falling out as you move the case around. It was easy to fold back the other side while reading, and when I turned it to landscape view, the folded back flap made a nice little 'easel' which was at a perfect angle for me to read. I just set it on my lap and didn't even have to hold it. I also like the dual zippers - for no reason other than I have arthritis and so can work the zipper with whichever hand is better on any given day (sounds silly, but if you're arthritic, you will understand). It seems to be made well. I like the idea that I can put my Fire 'away' and not worry about it getting scratched, dropped, etc. 107 of 110 people found the following review helpful: Awesome cover for the Kindle Fire, By Lady Gamer (Murphy, NC) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Marware jurni Kindle Fire Cover, Red (Accessory) Marware jurni Kindle Fire Cover, Red When I received my Kindle Fire, I was a little disappointed in how heavy it is and how awkward it is to hold. I'm used to using a lightweight Pocketbook 360 Plus ereader. So when I put this Marware cover on the Kindle, I was pleasantly surprised at how much easier it is to hold the KF for long periods of time without fatigue. The built in strap is an ingenious design. Seems to be sturdily built unlike the Kindle Fire Lightweight MicroShell Folio Cover by Marware which I also bought - and returned. It has a double zipper so that you can leave the cover on while charging or transferring data. The zippered storage compartment is a very tight storage space, but I only planned on using it for a motel or hotel card key, a little cash or a credit card so it is fine for my uses... Jayaprasad (Chicago,IL) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Marware jurni Kindle Fire Cover, Black (Accessory) I get the Kindle Fire on the day of release as promised. It is rugged but I needed a case because I found it hard to hold it and read in bed particularly. I had to order the form fitting Polycarbonate case and then cancel that order. Amazon had that case strangely back ordered for 15 days or so (I did read some unresonable reviews but I needed some case to be even able to use the Kindle Fire!). Here is the most important reason you want to buy this :- This case reverses and the elastic palm pouch is a great way to hold it with the zipper being reversed once the case is folded back on itself. I could read and use my kindle Fire with out any problem and holding it became a breeze. The other Marware cases that I had my friend order has much to be desired. The leather case that they sell is too heavy though nicer(what is the point of having such extra form factor on a compact kindle !). This is the best case since it seems water proof and perhaps will give some decent protection to the... Read more |
