3.0 out of 5 stars Nice Sleeve, but issues..., November 19, 2011

It's a nice sleeve, but as I said it has issues. I also experienced the circles of "glue" around the rubbery grip... But I noticed if you stretched it and rubbed over it they become lighter and lighter. So, not that much of an issue there.

My other issue is every time I slide my Fire into the sleeve it hits the Power button on the bottom waking up the Kindle... Also not that big of a deal because unless you swipe to unlock the screen will ultimately go back to sleep in a second.

Other than those two issues the sleeve is quality. Heavy material, interesting design, pretty - rich color. Over all I like it, but I would like it a lot more if it wouldn't wake up my kindle every time I put it in the case.

I hope this helps!

Happy Shopping :)

2.0 out of 5 stars sloppy, November 14, 2011

Have had good experiences with B in the past, but this one is pretty cheap looking.

The material and feel is actually quite good, but you can see the outline of something like glue around the edge of the rubberized center piece. It's stitched on, but maybe they used glue to hold it temporarily, or maybe its runoff ink from the print. Basically the neoprene around the edge of the rubber looks like something has spilled.

Thought it was maybe a fluke or damaged during packing, but I ordered two - black and pink - and both have similar discoloration.

1.0 out of 5 stars Quality VERY disappointing!, November 16, 2011

Wow! What happened to Belkin quality? This case looks like something you'd find in a store that sells factory seconds. Each corner where the rubberized piece meets the sleeve has an area that looks like a wet stain--that's 4 sizable wet stains. The areas are quite visible and make the case look both inexpensive and damaged. It's definitely not something I am willing to use, and I am frustrated that--after waiting weeks to receive this item--it is so poorly made. I'll be calling Amazon for help with this.
