There were defects on my cover with a couple noticeable bumps on it, and the black color came off when I tried to lightly scratch one of the bumps away. I'd hate to see what keys in my purse would do. The white canvas also looks like it can get dirty really quickly, but I'd personally be afraid of cleaning it because the black came off so quickly. It's also a little awkward to hold because of the way it's designed and, from my little time with it, not very functional. There's no real place to comfortably hang on to it while reading or browsing the web, which is what I do most with my Kindle Fire. It's not completely like holding a book, because of the rounded spine, and the fabric on the inside doesn't grip as well as I would have liked. It's cute, I'll admit, but there are tons of better covers out there for a lot less money than $70... It's so cute and simple and just a nice accessory to have. You can fold it back to just have the screen showing or hold it open like a book and it fits the kindle perfectly. I would say worth the price :) |
